EDITORIAL: Memorial shooting impacts whole city | dnj.com | The Daily News Journal: "gang members are brazen enough to start shooting at each other in the middle of town, they'll do it at midnight or at noon. Recent incidents in Nashville are proof of that, and police say gang members here are affiliated with those in Nashville.That's why it's important for Murfreesboro Police to arrest those involved in this most recent violent incident and to send a message to others that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.This shooting could well stem from the late 2007 spate of gang-related violence that rocked Murfreesboro after a gang member was gunned down in the parking lot of a now-defunct nightclub at Memorial and Northfield Boulevard."
