Update: Man Gets Life, More Than 1,000 Years In Prison For Murder of NFL’s Darrent Williams « Hip-Hop Wired: "26-year-old Willie Clark was sentenced to life in prison plus 1,152 years Friday for the 2007 shooting death of Denver Broncos player Darrent Williams.
The member of the Crips street gang was eligible for the 1,000 plus years behind bars because he had two prior felony convictions and was convicted of 16 counts of attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault.
As previously reported, he was found guilty of murdering the NFL player when he attempted to leave a New Year's Eve celebration."
