Police seek two suspects in Calgary killing of Vancouver gangster: "Police know at least two men laid in wait and ambushed a former B.C. gangster gunned down outside a Calgary nightclub, but are no closer to catching his killers a year later.
Someone killed David Tajali, 33, and wounded his younger brother, Niki, during a confrontation in the parking lot behind 1812 4th St. S.W. shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, 2009.
Shortly after the shooting, police issued sketches of two men seen in the area at the time of the shooting.
On Tuesday, investigators revealed they now believe one man shot Tajali while the other one stood nearby and acted as a lookout.
'This was a targeted attack,' said Staff Sgt. Doug Andrus of the Calgary police homicide unit."
