Fresno Police Increase Gang Patrols - KGPE CBS47 News, Sports & Weather for the Central Valley: "officers found a 16-year old boy dead outside of a home. Inside the home, police discovered a 48-year old woman who had been shot and killed. As well as a 45-year old man who had been struck in the shoulder. A video policing camera, which has been focused on this problem spot for the last year and a half, captured this shooting and is helping investigators.
'It appears to be gang involved,' said Chief Jerry Dyer.
Around 3:30 Saturday morning, a man was gunned down at Willow and Lane. It was not gang-related. Police say it was some type of feud over drugs. Officers have detained a person they believe to be the killer.Of the 20 homicides this year, seven have happened in southwest Fresno. Southeast, northeast and northwest have each had four. Central has one. 14 of those murders have involved a gang member as either a suspect or victim."
