gainesvilletimes.com - Three teens indicted in March slaying: "11-count indictment against Brian Martin Rivera, 16, Daniel Vilchis-Ayala, 16, and Nelson Vaca, 17, who authorities say are members of the Sur-13 street gang in Athens.
The charges include murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, attempted armed robbery, burglary, kidnapping with bodily injury, false imprisonment and violation of Georgia's street gang terrorism act.
Ramon Hernandez, a handyman who lived and worked at the East Ridge Mobile Home Park, was found dead inside his trailer on March 18. The home is located off Marlow Drive between Ga. 60 and U.S. 129 in unincorporated Hall County.
According to the indictment, authorities believe Hernandez was held against his will and beaten repeatedly in the face and head with a unspecified firearm. The beating occurred March 16 and Hernandez died either March 16 or March 17, according to the indictment.
The defendants, all from Athens, are accused of trying to steal from Hernandez at the time of the killing, according to the indictment"
