Gang member convicted of 2002 Buena Park murder: "32-year-old Castaic gang member, who was the getaway driver in a botched kidnapping that led to the slaying of a businessman near his Buena Park home in 2002, was found guilty of first-degree murder Thursday.
The verdicts came after Orange County Superior Court Judge Francisco Briseno had to question each of the jurors about an allegation of misconduct. One juror said she heard another juror saying she heard from her husband about penalties other defendants in the case have received, Deputy District Attorney Howard Gundy said."
