Teen murder suspect a 'gang-banger' | Toronto & GTA | News | Toronto Sun: "gang-banger was one of two shooters behind the daylight slaying of a Toronto teen, police alleged Saturday.
Mitchell Leton Celise, 17, was gunned down on Winona Dr., a quiet residential street near St. Clair and Oakwood Aves., at about 3:30 p.m. Monday.
An ambulance emergency run to St. Michael's hospital wasn't enough to save Celise, known on the streets as 'S.K.' or 'Skeezy.' He was Toronto's 14th homicide victim of the year.
Celise was walking with an 'unknown male' when two suspects came up behind them, Toronto Police homicide Det. Mary Vruna said at police headquarters late Saturday morning.
After a 'brief exchange of words,' both suspects pulled out handguns and began firing at Celise, Vruna said, adding it was clear to investigators Celise was 'specifically targeted.'"
