New High-Tech Courtroom Built For SJ Gang Trial - cbs5.com: "upcoming trial of one of San Jose's most violent street gangs.

Eight members of the El Hoyo Palmas gang are on trial later this month in connection with four killings. The county had to find a courtroom big enough to hold all the defendants.

$200,000 was spent to transform the 48-year-old courtroom into a high-tech Mecca for the high-security trial. Court officials say the price tag is worth it because they'll no longer have to rent outside facilities for large trials."
