Reputed KC gang leader loses appeal - KansasCity.com: "Shauntay Henderson, touted by authorities as a Kansas City gang leader, had argued that she acted in self-defense in killing DeAndre M. Parker in September 2006 as he sat in a pickup truck outside a convenience store.
Henderson contended that she was afraid that Parker would run her down because of a long-simmering feud.
Henderson’s trial judge dismissed her self-defense argument and the appeals court agreed, finding that she did not try and retreat before resorting to deadly force"
