Trenton gangster jailed for role as driver in murder of 15-year-old - The Trentonian News: Serving Trenton and surrounding communities. (trentonian.com): "Shawn Green, 25, pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter for the gang-retaliation shooting death of Robert Simmons III on Oct. 6, 2005.
Simmons was 15 at the time and belonged to a rival gang called Valentines. Antoine Strong of New York City — leader of the 59 Brims, a set of the Bloods — ordered Simmons’ death after 59 Brims member Robert DeLoach was killed.
“They took a young man’s life. This has all to do with the fact of gang violence. Shawn Green might not be the one who pulled the trigger, but he supplied the means, the transportation to the murder scene,” said Assistant Prosecutor Skylar Weissman, asking Mercer County Judge Pedro J. Jiminez to pass the negotiated sentence in a plea agreement to testify against Strong at trial."
