Gang member charged in death of taxi driver | mycentraljersey.com | MyCentralJersey.com: "19-year-old gang member had been arrested and charged with fatally shooting a taxi driver, but also said the investigation is continuing and warned taxi drivers not to accept calls from blocked phone numbers.


Wallace Parrish, of the 900 block of West Fourth Street in Plainfield, was charged with felony murder and weapons offenses and is being held at the Union County Jail in Elizabeth on $750,000 bail.
“This is one of those cowardly acts that makes no sense,” said Union County Prosecutor Ted Romankow in announcing the arrest.
Romankow described Parrish as a member of 'Sex, Money, Murder' sect of the Bloods street gang. He and other officials declined to describe specifically how they found Parrish, saying only that he was arrested in Plainfield."
