Two charged in gang-related N.W. Side shooting :: News :: PIONEER PRESS :: Norridge and Harwood Heights News: "Two men have been charged with the apparent gang-related shooting of two other men in the Northwest Side Kilbourn Park neighborhood early Sept. 20.
The shooting happened about 1:20 a.m. in the 4700 block of West Barry Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
The victims, ages 21 and 25, were standing on the street when an assailant approached, shouted gang slogans and began shooting, News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said. The gunman then fled on foot.
The 25-year-old was shot in the lower back and taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, according to Perez. The 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand and was taken to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center."
