Va. Gang Leader Sentenced To Life In Prison - wjz.com: "founder of a street gang that a prosecutor says terrorized neighborhoods in three cities has been sentenced to life in prison.

James Mack Spaights had pleaded guilty in June to one RICO count and a firearms charge. The 25-year-old Portsmouth man was sentenced Thursday in federal court to life plus 10 years.

U.S. Attorney Neil H. MacBride says Spaights was the founder and a top leader of the Bounty Hunter Bloods/Nine Tech Gangster gang. The RICO racketeering activities included attempted murder, robberies and illegal drug distribution."
