The Press Association: Guerilla leader 'dies in bombing': "Colombia's president said that a top leftist rebel leader who oversees major cocaine production may have been killed in the bombing of a guerrilla camp in the country's southern jungles.
President Juan Manuel Santos said Fabian Ramirez's pistols, rucksack and computers were found at the scene of the pre-dawn bombing.
Defence Minister Rodrigo Rivera said at least six bodies had been found.
Ramirez, 47, is one of some 20 members of the general staff of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. His given name is Jose Benito Cabrera.
The US has a 2.5 million US dollar (£1.56 million) reward out for his capture. It says he is responsible for more than 1,000 tons of cocaine production."
