Female El Monte gang member held woman at gunpoint for car, officials say L.A. NOW Los Angeles Times: "Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said they have arrested a female El Monte gang member who is accused of holding a 22-year-old woman at gunpoint and trying to force her to sign over a car.
Officials said the victim's 18-year-old boyfriend reported a kidnapping early Tuesday morning, telling deputies his girlfriend was being held against her will by a woman with a handgun in a home in the 16600 block of Tudor Street in unincorporated Covina."
