Federal judge sends gang member to prison for shooting rival : News : CNYCentral.com: "federal judge has imposed the maximum prison sentence on a 24-year-old Syracuse street gang member who shot a rival, intending to kill him but instead leaving the victim paralyzed from the neck down.

U.S. District Judge Frederick Scullin sentenced '110 gang' member Schiquan Harrison to 15 years and 8 months in prison for the 2008 shooting of Dylon Smith, a member of the Bricktown gang.

Scullin said he imposed the maximum sentence because of Harrison's history of firearms and violence."
