Strange bedfellows: Leaders of three gangs team to sell heroin - Chicago Sun-Times: "Sandoval, 30, of Sauk Village, is a high-ranking Latin Kings member; Lacy, 32, also of Sauk Village, is a Gangster Disciples boss, and Ridgner, 31, of Dyer, Ind., is a top Black P Stone, officials said.
Their alleged pact was a departure from the way fiercely independent Chicago area gangs have operated in the past, officials said.
“Our gang teams in the suburbs have been seeing a break from the traditional gang hierarchy and loyalties,” said Steve Patterson, a spokesman for Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart.
“As gangs migrate to the suburbs, they don’t have as many members as they might have in the city, so we’re seeing more non-traditional alliances. At the upper levels, they don’t care about affiliation, they care about money,” Patterson said.
Ridgner controlled the Harvey operation and Lacy was his drug supplier, officials said."
