Liverpool drug gangs war behind shootings as Merseyside Police warn children are in firing line

ORGANISED crime gangs battling for control of Liverpool’s drugs market were today identified as being behind an alarming recent rise in shootings. Police have appealed for help to catch the thugs responsible for eight firearms attacks in the last nine days on Merseyside – two this weekend.
