Lorain police tracked down one of the last known at-large MOB gang members yesterday, according to Lt. Mark Carpentiere. Eric Echols, 21, was arrested about noon after he was found hiding inside 818 W. 18th St. He is charged with participating in a criminal gang, Carpentiere said. Echols was indicted in May, along with several other men accused of being members of the Lorain street gang, a target of Lorain police since early May. Also in the home was Chandra Mastin, 18, the mother of Echols’ 2-month-old child, who claimed Echols never lived there after police searched the home in May.
