Plea-bargain for reputed street-gang leader: "Ducarme Joseph, the reputed street-gang leader who escaped a 50-bullet fusillade at his high-fashion boutique in Old Montreal one afternoon last month, agreed yesterday from a prisoner's box in Quebec Court not to carry any weapons for the rest of his life.
He was also sentenced to 10 months of jail time on two charges unrelated to the March 18 gangland-style attack at his FlawNego clothing store on St. Jacques St. W., as part of a plea-bargain deal accepted by Judge Jean Pierre Boyer."
