BBC News - Wolverhampton gang member jailed for murder: "Jamie Price, the son of musician Goldie, was found guilty of murdering Marlon Morris, 21.
Mr Morris was out drinking with friends and was unarmed when he was stabbed four times last August, Nottingham Crown Court heard.
Judge John Milmo QC told Price, of Long Ley, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, he must serve a minimum of 21 years in prison.
'Everyone lost'
The judge said: 'The background here is gang culture. The refusal of gangs to accept the law of the land, coupled with the desire to impose their own anarchic ways, cannot be tolerated by society.
Marlon Morris was fatally stabbed through the heart and died in hospital 'In a case of this kind there are no winners, only losers. Everyone involved here has lost and lost in a very significant sense, whether the sentence is one of life or one of death.'
Mr Morris, a member of the Pendeford Crew, had been left with a severely disabled arm following a motorcycle crash.
Price, a member of the rival Heath Town gang, chased him down Broad Street in the city centre before repeatedly stabbing him, the court heard.
Speaking outside court on Tuesday, Mr Morris's family said they were pleased with the length of Price's sentence.
In a statement read by Det Con Allison Smith, the family said: 'Today has seen justice for Marlon and whilst it has been a long and difficult journey, it's the right result and enables closure for our family."
