Alleged gang member slain in Marina District

Alleged gang member slain in Marina District: "Jelvon Helton, 22, was shot numerous times in the chest at the Gravity Room at 3251 Scott St. at 11:58 p.m. Monday, according to police and the San Francisco medical examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital.
Police did not have a detailed description of the shooter, who remains at large, said Officer Albie Esparza, a police spokesman.
A representative of the Gravity Room did not respond to a request for comment.
Helton was a member of the Western Addition gang Knockout Posse, police have said in court records."
