Navy SEAL Accused Of Gun Smuggling To Ask For Bail - San Diego News Story - KGTV San Diego: "SAN DIEGO -- A hearing on a request for bail is now scheduled Friday for a Coronado-based Navy SEAL accused of smuggling machine guns and parts from Iraq or Afghanistan and selling them.
Nicholas Bickle, 33, faces federal charges of conspiracy to deal in firearms without paying a tax, possessing an unregistered firearm and transferring an unregistered firearm.
The Coronado-based member of the Navy's specialized Sea, Air and Land unit was taken into custody in San Diego last Wednesday following a five-month investigation, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Nevada, one of the lead agencies in the case"
