Gang unit seeks Utah's 'Public Enemy Number One'

Police are searching for 18-year-old Carlos Umana, who investigators say is a member of a street gang and is wanted in connection with a recent stabbing incident in Magna.

Police say Umana's previous criminal history includes arrests for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Police say Umana is a male Hispanic, 5’8” and 180 lbs. He has a tattoo on his face of a Huelga bird; a tattoo on his throat of the number “14,” and a tattoo on the back of his neck of the letter “N.”.

Police asked that anyone with any information that would assist in the arrest of Umana to contact the Metro Gang Unit through UPD Dispatch at (801) 743-7000.
