Willie D Sentenced To Prison For Wire Fraud | Street Gangs Resource Center: "Wiliam Dennis, aka “Willie D” formerly of Geto Boys, was sentenced to 366 days in federal prison due to wire fraud. In a press release by U.S. Attorney José Angel Moreno to Houston Press, the music artist behind Texas One Wireless Company was exposed to “posing as an electronics salesman and using eBay to establish his credibility with international buyers. Once a buyer showed interest, Dennis directed the buyer outside of eBay to conduct sales via e-mail” and issuing false shipment tracking numbers."
