Gang of thugs who chased a man like a pack of wild animals and carried out a horrific attack in broad daylight have been jailed

Gang of thugs who chased a man like a pack of wild animals and carried out a horrific attack in broad daylight have been jailed.
Sickening CCTV footage shows the mob running after their victim through the streets of Moss Side. They then unleashed a cowardly attack, stamping on the victim’s body and head, leaving him with a horrifying head wound, Manchester Crown Court heard.
The incident happened in an area plagued by gangland violence, the court was told. The attack was only brought to an end when a lone woman passer-by bravely intervened and stopped the violent attack.
The identity of the woman is not known but the video shows how she crossed a road carrying a shopping bag and walked right up to the gang as they were carrying out the assault and tried to shield the victim as he lay on the floor.
