Jury urges death for gang member - CharlotteObserver.com: "recommended that MS-13 gang member Alejandro Umana be sentenced to death for the 2007 murders of two brothers in Greensboro.
Umana, 25, was convicted of murder last week in connection with the slayings of Ruben Garcia Salinas and Manuel Garcia Salinas in a family restaurant in Greensboro.
Chief U.S. District Judge Bob Conrad must follow the jurors' recommendation and impose the death sentence. Umana, who authorities say was a member of an MS-13 cell in Charlotte, will probably be sentenced in the next few months."
