Tulare man who served as driver in pair of gang-related shootings sentenced to 25 years to life | visaliatimesdelta.com | Visalia Times-Delta and Tulare Advance-Register: "Jesus Camilo Sanchez, 20, had pleaded no contest to two counts of attempted murder with firearm discharge, having a concealed firearm and being an active participant in a criminal street gang. The first shooting occurred around 1:20 a.m. Feb. 4, 2009, after Sanchez and fellow gang members had driven to the Tulare home of a rival gang member, prosecutors said. Members of the Sanchez group fired several rounds into the home, then ran to Sanchez’s vehicle and drove away, prosecutors said."
