Brother of ex-gangster said to be murder victim | Calgary & Alberta | News | Calgary Sun: "man ambushed in his own home and shot dead is believed to be the brother of a former gang member sent to jail several years ago for a massive drug bust.
Last night police had not made any arrests.
They also had not revealed the name of the man but several sources said Donny Tu is the man who was ambushed in his Edgeridge Green N.W. home about 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Witnesses said a suspect drove up to the home and knocked at the door before opening fire at the middle-aged man, while his wife and children were inside.
No one else was hurt in what police are calling a 'targeted' attack.
It is the city's seventh homicide of the year."
