Gonzales homicide arrest made; second suspect still sought | thecalifornian.com | The Salinas Californian: "arrested Alfredo Sarabia Gonzales, 19, at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of murder, conspiracy, accessory to murder and gang enhancements, at a residence in the 31000 block of North Alta Street.Gonzales is accused of killing Jose Antonio Jimenez, 27, on Feb. 21 following an argument outside an apartment complex in the 500 block of Fanoe Road. Jimenez's death is the city's first homicide in nine years.Police Chief Paul Miller said the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, California Highway Patrol and the California Department of Fish and Game assisted Gonzales police with the search. He said the teen was arrested without incident and booked into county jail."
