Police ID body of gangster in oil drum: "Thornhill gangster known by the street name 'The Black Ghost,' a reported millionaire loan shark who disappeared more than two years ago, has been identified as the person found encased in a barrel of concrete at the bottom of Toronto's harbour.
Toronto Police said yesterday the well-preserved body of Quang Lu, a 47-year-old divorced father of one with ties to Asian organized crime, was identified following a fingerprint analysis.
'Mr. Lu is known-- was known -- to police,' Detective Justin Vander Heyden told reporters at Toronto Police headquarters yesterday. 'Given that it did appear Mr. Lu lived quite a high-risk lifestyle, at this point I'd be foolish to say we're not entertaining that there's a criminal organization angle to this.'"
