WUWM: News - Fifteen Foreign-born Gang Suspects Arrested Here: "arrest 15 suspected gang members in the city. Authorities say all 15 are in the country illegally.

According to police, the gangs operated on Milwaukee’s south side, so the fact members are in custody should reduce fear and anxiety among neighbors.

The MPD teamed with agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) which has been working for five years to arrest and deport foreign-born members of violent street gangs. According to ICE, one of the 15 men arrested here is from the former Yugoslavia, the rest are Mexican nationals. And there are links with the street gangs: Brown Pride, Latin Kings, Mexican Posse and C-14.

Since ICE began its operation in 2005, it’s arrested more than 17,000 reputed gang members across the country"
