Escalating gang feud lands two in jail | Inland News | PE.com | Southern California News | News for Inland Southern California: "feud between two Lake Elsinore gangs that heated up earlier this year after a gang member was fatally shot has led to the arrest of two men, authorities said.
Robert Andrew Esparza, 23, of Lake Elsinore, was arrested Thursday in the 800 block of Alpine Court near Summer Lake Park. He is accused of shooting at a rival gang member the evening of July 24, court records show.
The rival was driving on Broadway near Crosswinds Court when he saw a green Honda Civic stopped at the intersection, records show. A man later identified as Esparza got out of that car's front passenger seat and pointed a gun at the rival, who accelerated toward Esparza.
Esparza fired but missed, court records stated."
