Darius Michael Newman, who lived in Bethlehem but now has no known address, is wanted on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and prescription drugs, possession with the intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.
Newman is affiliated with the Bloods and is suspected in the rash of gang-ordered robberies involving mostly Lehigh students on the South Side, said Detective Jeremy Alleshouse.
On Sunday, police raided Newman’s former home at 538 Hayes St. Inside the home, police found several stolen items, including electronics and a television, Alleshouse said. They also found drugs and drug paraphernalia and arrested Dario O. Perez, 19, who was inside the home."
