According to Today's TMJ4, a federal indictment has listed 17 people in the Wisconsin and Minnesota area who have ties to the Asian street gang, "Menace of Destruction (MOD)," have been arrested. The reason the street gang is important to the Milwaukee area is because the leader and now arrested, Yang Lor, was from Milwaukee. Two other members, Chin Xiong and Chee Vang, used to live and reside in the Milwaukee area. All of these men have been arrested in connection with MOD. Federal court records list the "Menace of Destruction" group to also be called "Masters of Destruction.' TMJ4 reported the gang started out in California all the way back in 1988 and went by the name "Peace MOD." At the time, the group had been broken up into individual groups which as a whole made the entire "Peace MOD" gang. Included in one of the "Peace MOD" sectors was a group called the "Asian Crips" who are very well-known in the Milwaukee area because they are from the Milwaukee area and are now enemies of the MOD. The "Asian Crips" have been accused for many crimes as well as shootings in the Milwaukee area. Today's TMJ4 said the Asian gang received help trafficking their drugs into the suburbs with people who lived near or in the suburbs. The drugs being sold by MOD members were methamphetamine and ecstasy. The sales from these drugs were intended to help support the gang members. The gang wanted to "promote solidarity" within the Hmong group and within the community, according to TMJ4.Some of those who were arrested in connection with selling drugs were, Dylan Black of Germantown, Pahuoa Vang from Waukesha and Kevin Kutschera from West Allis. Black was arrested at his high school, Sussex-Hamilton and Kutschera (according to Today's TMJ4) apparently has ties to New Berlin.
