NorthJersey.com: Four Paterson gang members indicted in kidnapping of rival gang member: "Four Paterson-based members of the Bloods street gang have been indicted for the April 2005 kidnapping of a rival Paterson gang member, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said Monday.
Torien Brooks, 29, Haleek State, 25, John Benning, 27, and Larry Mayo, 27, all of Paterson, were each charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit murder, as well as federal weapons charges, according to the indictment.
The indictment, unsealed in Newark federal court on Monday, identified the victim only as “M.M.”
The defendants, members of the Blood’s Fruit Town Brims, conspired to kidnap and murder M.M. to maintain their positions in the “FTB” set, according to the indictment."
