33 more arrests in Fresno gang sweep - Updates - fresnobee.com: "Fresno police made 12 felony and 21 misdemeanor arrests in an ongoing crackdown on gang violence Monday night.
The operation was launched April 25 after a double slaying in southwest Fresno. Since then, officers have made 453 arrests, 144 on felony charges.
It is unclear how many of those arrested are still in custody. The Fresno County Sheriff's Office does not track which of the people arrested in the sweep have been released from jail because of overcrowding."
