London Fields Gun Battle – Man Shot During Festival | Hackney Hive: "Police have confirmed the man shot, is in stable condition. His injuries are no longer life threatening.
Reports via Twitter are coming in, about a shooting in London Fields involving a 27 year old white man with injuries the Met Police are describing as gun shot wounds to the stomach, which appear to be “potentially life-threatening”. The shooting took place at about 3:30pm today, 22 May, at the junction of Shrubland Road and Forest Road, while people were enjoying a mini festival organized by Hackney Council, to showcase summer events to come in Hackney’s Parks from May-September."
