Renter of Surrey Six killing location pleads guilty to cocaine trafficking: "associate of the gangster who rented the Surrey Six death suite has pleaded guilty to cocaine trafficking in Surrey Provincial Court.
Jaspreet (Justin) Chahil arrived at court Tuesday morning with his mother. His lawyer Neil Cobb told Judge Paul Dohm that he would plead to one of several drug charges he was facing.
And Cobb said he expected the other counts would be stayed at Chahil's sentencing hearing.
The case was put over to October 21 for sentencing.
Chahil was an associate of the late Raphael Baldini, who was gunned down in February 2009 in a Surrey mall parking lot.
The two were jointly charged in Vancouver in October 2008 with assault and uttering death threats.
Chahil is due to go to trial on those charges in August."
