Three injured in Plainfield shootings as gang feud escalates | mycentraljersey.com | MyCentralJersey.com: "feud between rival gang sets that has been simmering for months is approaching a boiling point, police said Monday, the day after three people were injured during two separate shootings in the West End.Two women and a man suffered injuries in the shootings although none were life-threatening, according to city Public Safety Director Martin Hellwig, who said that violence between the neighboring Libside and West Third Street gang sets is escalating in spite of increased police patrols being firmly in place"
