Suspected gang member held in stabbing; others sought » Ventura County Star: "Geovanny Gonzalez was being held without bail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and street terrorism.
He was arrested Friday in the jail, where he was being held for violating conditions of probation for a 2008 armed robbery he committed, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Friday’s arrest came after a three-month investigation into the April 18 gang-related stabbing in the 3300 block of Santa Clara Avenue. Police arrived to find that everyone had fled; the stabbing victim later showed up at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard with a stab wound to the lower back. He was found to have a lacerated kidney, which was removed."
