2 arrested in gang shooting that killed bystander | Bakersfield Now - News, Weather and Sports | Local & Regional News: "Santos Balleza, 35, of McFarland, was caught in the middle of the gunfire May 13 at A&M Market, 398 Sherwood Ave. He suffered gunshots to his head and shoulder and died days later at Kern Medical Center.
The target of the shooting, 33-year-old Michael Ramirez, of Wasco, was hit three times in the upper torso but survived.
The investigation led to the arrests of 27-year-old Michael John Torres and 21-year-old Jose Noe Rodriguez, according to McFarland police. Torres was arrested locally on May 20, and Rodriguez was apprehended over the weekend in Washington state."
